Gloria This is one of the older known recordings of The Tragically Hip. From the famous Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, this recording is a great example of the band's early days. The set list is filled with unrealeased originals and fantastic covers. Gord Downie interacts often with the seemingly small and familiar crowd. This recording really captures the raw energy and enthusiasm of a band just starting to make waves. The superior quality of musicianship at this stage is also very noticable. TAKE NOTE: This is not a fantastic recording by any means. It is an ametuer audience recording from over 15 years ago. Having said that, it is one of my favorites regardless. The sound quality is only satisfactory, though certainly not unlistenable. However, the show is so enjoyable that it makes up for any of the audio's downfalls anyway. Enjoy. Seeded by Hairbird (James)
